ABOUT US

Relief for the Weary came about when Mike Tubb developed cancer. For several months he was fighting for his life and was unable to care for his yard. Mike had always taken great pride in maintaining his yard and was grateful when members of his neighborhood and church pulled together to ensure his yard was maintained during this difficult time...

Relief for the Weary is looking to bring back the Christian behavior of neighbors helping each other. The organization helps to identify those who need assistance and to connect them with those who are willing to serve.

HELPING

Relief for the Weary assists with things like: building a wheelchair ramp, cleaning up overgrown landscaping, cleaning out gutters, minor exterior repairs, basic mowing & trimming, small tree removal, fallen tree removal, providing firewood (when available), minor fence repair, minor gutter repair. If you aren’t sure if we can help, please ask!

Relief for the Weary fills short-term needs for those who have experienced difficulty such as an accident, illness, loss of a loved one, loss of work or other hardships that make it difficult or impossible for the needed work to be completed.
